At ESS, we're seeking a skilled Chef to lead our culinary team in providing exceptional food experiences for Defence. As a Chef, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals that delight our clients and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing delicious food that meets our clients' expectations
  • Overseeing menu changes and identifying opportunities to improve food services
  • Acting on customer feedback to enhance food quality
  • Supporting the creation of new menus and food concepts
  • Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to maintain kitchen efficiency
  • Ensuring kitchen hygiene and compliance with regulations

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Experience supervising a team and working in a similar Chef role
  • A flexible approach to working and a passion for great-tasting food
  • A Food Hygiene certificate and a commitment to maintaining high standards
