Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Education Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As an Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities to students
- Assist students with challenging behavior in the classroom
- Provide individual support to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom management and behavior strategies
- Support students during break times and extracurricular activities
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Knowledge of challenging behavior management techniques
- Understanding of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- First Aid training
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position during school term times
- Working hours may vary, typically school hours
