About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Solutions Delivery Expert to join our team at Williams Lea. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a critical role in designing and architecting digital solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and implementation of digital solutions that align with Government Service Design principles and the Government's Technology Code of Practice. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are designed and delivered efficiently, effectively, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solution Architecture: Define and document solution architecture, including functional and non-functional requirements, high-level design, integration points, security aspects, and deployment strategy.
  • Digital Solution Development: Design and oversee the transformation, development, testing, and implementation of solution components, ensuring adherence to architecture and quality standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the delivery team, resolving issues or challenges that may arise during the project.
  • Certifications and Qualifications:
    • AWS Certified Solutions - Associate (Must)
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (Desirable but willing to undertake)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing and delivering digital solutions, preferably for public sector or regulatory clients or in a public sector or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in various digital technologies, such as cloud computing, web and mobile development, data and analytics, artificial intelligence, internet of things, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Lean).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance trade-offs and risks.
