Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our team at Survitec. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of cranes and lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, proof load testing, visual examinations, service, and inspections of cranes and lifting equipment.
  • Respond to customer breakdowns, diagnose faults, and liaise with customers for cost-effective repairs.
  • Complete and return full, detailed service and repair reports.
  • Achieve competency as defined in the LEEA registration scheme.
  • Provide own tooling (larger workshop tools provided).
  • Assist specialists in setting up and testing new products or processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum NVQ3 in Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of LOLER requirements.
  • Competence in inspecting lifting equipment (LOLER).
  • Full UK Driving License.
