Job Title: Project CAD Technician

Humres - Construction Recruitment Specialists is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain accurate CAD/REVIT/3D plans and details for construction projects.
  • Develop and update CAD/REVIT/3D plans for estimating and client presentations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive CAD/REVIT/3D library.
  • Ensure CAD/REVIT/3D revisions are up-to-date and issued to relevant parties.
  • Modify and update CAD/REVIT/3D drawings as required.
  • Liaise with construction site managers and client project managers to establish project scope.
  • Advise the project team on restricted build issues identified from CAD/REVIT/3D drawing production and project variations.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys.
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Comply with Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures at all times.
  • Competent IT skills in AutoCAD, REVIT, 3D modeling, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to travel to various locations in the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Valid UK Clean Driving Licence (desirable).
  • GCSE in Maths and English.
  • Engineering background (desirable).
  • Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card may be required for site visits—training can be provided.
