About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our UK CSIRT Team in Warwick. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in detecting and responding to cyber threats, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert guidance on cyber security best practices and procedures
  • Leading incident response efforts, including threat hunting, containment, and eradication
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Developing and maintaining security protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from implementing new security technologies to developing and delivering training programs for our team members.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in threat detection and response
  • Expertise in security monitoring platforms, endpoint detection and response tools, and intrusion detection and prevention systems
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure designs, including cloud infrastructures, routing, firewall functionality, and encryption
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary between £52,000 – £67,000, dependent on capability. You will also receive a bonus based on personal and company performance, and a contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
