Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Engineer to join our client's established service desk team. As a Service Desk Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to users via phone, email, and remote desktop
- Support users with Linux system issues, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Assist with Joiners, Movers, and Leavers (JML) support, including onboarding and offboarding processes
- Configure and troubleshoot PC builds, desktop setups, and hardware configurations
- Support Active Directory, MDM (InTune), and VLAN environments
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills in Linux, PC builds, and hardware configurations
- Experience with MDM (InTune), Active Directory, and VLAN environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
