Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a supply teaching assistant, you will work on a flexible basis, supporting students with special educational needs in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Behaviour Management: Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Support to Class Teachers: Assist class teachers in preparing activities and resources to meet the needs of students with SEN.
  • Display Boards and Visual Aids: Create engaging display boards and visual aids to support student learning and engagement.
  • Break Time Duty: Supervise students during break times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to students with SEN, promoting their social and emotional development.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping.

Requirements:

  • Experience Working with Vulnerable People: You will have experience working with vulnerable people, including those with SEN.
  • Passion for Helping Others: You will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to supporting students with SEN.
  • Resilience and Compassion: You will be resilient and compassionate, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
