Our client, a leading Defence SME, is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and the ability to work in protectively marked environments.

Salary
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £55,000-£60,000 per annum, plus bonus, pension, private medical insurance, and hybrid working arrangements.

Job Description
The role involves maintaining, improving, and securing our client's multi-classification, virtualised, collaboration, and development environments. This will include administering Windows Server 2016+, VMware vSphere/vCenter/VCF.Azure/NSX/vSAN, Linux (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu), PowerShell, EUD provisioning, and SSO concepts and operation.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
Windows Server 2016+ administration
VMware vSphere/vCenter/VCF.Azure/NSX/vSAN
Linux (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu)
PowerShell
EUD provisioning (Autopilot), maintenance, patching, and hardening
SSO - concepts and operation
Understanding of working in protectively marked environments

Desirable Skills
Kubernetes administration (VMware, TKGI, DevSecOps, Tooling, Elastic, Nessus)
