The Role:

As a Laboratory Technician within our Bioanalysis team based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, you will provide laboratory-based technical and operational support to colleagues working on a wide variety of studies including LCMS assays. While training, you will learn a broad range of standard technical laboratory skills and techniques, including how to work to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and work closely with many teams within the department.

Duties Include:

  1. Supporting analysis through reagent preparation.
  2. Maintaining, cleaning, and calibrating equipment within all laboratory areas.
  3. Ensuring that plentiful consumable items, buffers, and stock reagents are available in the laboratories as required.
  4. Joint responsibility for the removal of laboratory waste, disposal of expired solutions or materials.
  5. Washing of laboratory glassware and consumables.
  6. Assisting with the archiving of non-study data.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary: £32,000 per annum.
