Job Summary:

ATA Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Steelwork Site Manager to oversee the installation of structural steel on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy industrial steel erection and/or mezzanine builds, with a proven track record of ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee steel work installations on-site, ensuring compliance with safety and construction standards.
  • Take ownership of site-based H&S, RAMS, and paperwork, including the H&S File.
  • Manage site activities, liaise with engineers and customers, and ensure site inductions and daily safety briefings are carried out.
  • Ensure site security and appropriate safety notices are installed and maintained.
  • Oversee public pedestrian routes and ensure that the works are undertaken in accordance with all H&S legislation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Candidate MUST have time-served in heavy industrial steel erection background and/or mezzanine builds.
  • Extensive experience of High-Bay warehouse racking construction is also desirable.
  • CSCS Black Card Required.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential.

Remuneration:
£380 - £400 per day per hour (Outside IR35). Initial 3-month contract with a chance of long-term extension.
