Job Title: Senior Financial Crime Manager

About the Role

Miryco Consultants Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Crime Manager to join their Compliance team in the City of London.

This is an exciting opportunity for a subject matter expert to make a significant impact by developing and implementing effective financial crime control frameworks, leading regular risk assessments, and collaborating with the Compliance team.


Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert on all financial crime matters, providing guidance and support to the team.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial crime control frameworks, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
  • Lead regular risk assessments to identify potential financial crime threats and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance team to ensure seamless integration of financial crime controls into the organization's overall risk management framework.
  • Act as a point of contact for financial crime-related queries, building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in financial crime and sanctions, with a deep understanding of UK and international regulations.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential financial crime risks.
