About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at DO & CO Airline Catering. As a key member of our production unit, you will be responsible for carrying out site-wide electrical and mechanical maintenance, installation work, problem-solving, and continuous improvement to increase and maintain production efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance: Perform repairs in line with our company's standards, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Maintenance Checks: Conduct regular maintenance checks to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Installation Work: Carry out installation work, including electrical and mechanical systems, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with other departments to minimize downtime.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase production efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as an Engineer in a similar industry.
  • Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualifications, such as an Engineering NVQ or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Health & Safety practices and regulations, as well as electrical and mechanical systems.
