Senior Financial Controller Responsible for Control and Reporting Standards

Rescourcery Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in a key role that will contribute to the development of our financial reporting and control standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience under IFRS and excellent communication skills to work closely with the commercial finance team.
Main responsibilities include the production of monthly management information packs, financial reporting packs in line with IFRS requirements, and direct responsibility for VAT and Tax submissions. The successful candidate will also be the main point of contact for external auditors and will assist the Financial Controller through the consolidation process.
Additional duties will include working closely with the commercial finance team to ensure reporting deadlines are managed appropriately and taking an active part in the ongoing requirement to improve procedures and reporting standards within the group. The successful candidate will also have exposure to a new ERP system implementation and will be able to challenge current system usage.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, with experience under IFRS and a good understanding of financial processes. Excellent communication skills are essential to work closely with the commercial finance team and external partners. The successful candidate will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
