Job Description

The Orion Group is seeking a highly skilled IS Governance Strategist to develop and execute comprehensive governance strategies that ensure the effective management of IT risks and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans that ensure effective governance of IT risks and compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and assess IT risks, recommending mitigation measures.
  • Design and implement effective internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage audits and assurance programs to ensure the integrity of our governance processes.
  • Provide guidance and education to employees on governance best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in IT governance frameworks such as COBIT and ISO/IEC 27001.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
