About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Psychosexual Therapist to join our team at the Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Psychosexual Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality specialist assessment and treatment to individuals and couples experiencing sexual dysfunction.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to individuals and couples.
- Assess and diagnose patients with sexual dysfunction, developing tailored treatment plans.
- Manage a caseload of patients, working autonomously and collaboratively with the team.
- Participate in clinical governance activities, contributing to the development of the psychosexual medicine service.
- Collaborate with administration colleagues to ensure relevant clinical information is inputted into the Care Director system.

Requirements

- Relevant undergraduate degree.
- Valid registration with COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapy) and accreditation.
- Postgraduate Diploma or Masters in Psychosexual Therapy in a course accredited by COSRT.
- In-depth knowledge of psychosexual theories and practices.
- Experience in delivering clinical supervision and managing a caseload.
