About the Role

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Health & Safety Specialist to join our team in Hertfordshire. This role will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees across all divisions and projects within your assigned region.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to managers on all aspects of health and safety, particularly in relation to civil engineering, construction, and maintenance projects.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive health and safety culture and minimize risks across our operations.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into any health, safety, or environmental incidents, ensuring prompt reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with depot and senior management to ensure all staff receive appropriate health and safety training and information.
  • Stay abreast of relevant health and safety standards, policies, procedures, and guidance to effectively support our teams.

Your Skills and Experience:

We're looking for a dedicated individual with a proven track record in health and safety within the civil engineering, construction, or maintenance sectors. You should possess strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills to effectively guide and support key stakeholders.

A willingness to travel and work away from home on occasion is essential for this role.
