Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Midwife to join our dedicated team in the Obstetric Unit at Hywel Dda University Health Board. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary of £32,000 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced midwife to provide high-quality, safe care to women, birthing people, and their families in our unique obstetric unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based individual client care, working collaboratively with colleagues to foster a positive work environment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong background in midwifery, with a portfolio of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Completed an approved preceptorship program
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff

You will also have the opportunity to engage in ongoing training and development, ensuring you remain up-to-date with current best practices and standards in midwifery care.
