Moody's, a global leader in risk assessment, is seeking a seasoned Associate Director to join our Insurance Advisory services team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team in advising clients on various topics and implementing transformational changes to their exposure and risk management workflows.

We are looking for an experienced exposure management professional with a strong background in catastrophe risk management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the re/insurance industry and be able to leverage the capabilities of the Intelligent Risk Platform to redesign clients' insurance analytics workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage the Intelligent Risk Platform to redesign clients' insurance analytics workflows, making them smarter, more efficient, and insightful.
  • Help clients understand and work with HD and climate change adjusted models, adapting them to reflect their enhanced view of risk and rolling them out systematically across their business.
  • Implement new accumulation scenarios for non-modeled risks, running them across all portfolios simultaneously.
  • Incorporate ESG and net-zero considerations in underwriting and reporting workflows.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in the re/insurance industry, with a focus on exposure and catastrophe risk management.
  • Experience leading projects or directing the activities of more junior colleagues.
  • Strong understanding of the re/insurance industry and its challenges.
