Job Overview

Austin Fraser is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their team in London. As an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance tasks on commercial buildings. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of up to £49,000 per annum, including a £2,500 bonus once HVAP training is completed. In addition to this, you will receive uniform and tools provided, cycle to work scheme, 20 days holiday, overtime available, private medical including previous medical conditions, and pension. Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Lighting installation, fault-finding, lamp changing, ballast replacement, control panel, and power distribution.
  • Emergency lighting maintenance.
  • Air conditioning - air handling units and fan coil unit filter changes and cleaning.
  • Chillers re-set.
  • Water treatment temperature checks and dosing.
  • Plumbing unblocking toilets.
  • Pumps and motors maintenance.
  • BMS system monitoring.


Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Electrically qualified level 3 (C&G, NVQ etc).
  • 18th edition certification.
  • Current or previous HVAP training preferred.
  • Experience working in a critical environment.
  • You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates.
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Multi-skilled and good communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
