Master Fabricator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Master Fabricator to join our team at Impress Group. As a Welder Craftsman, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing high-quality components using stainless steel and aluminium.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals to produce high-quality welded and fabricated components.
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate components accurately and efficiently.
3. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain optimal workflows, meet project deadlines, and ensure products meet stringent quality standards.
4. Work with various sections, plate, laser cut, and machined components 1-30+ mm thick.
5. Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure all work meets industry and company standards.
6. Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.

Requirements:

We are looking for a Time-served Welder or Fabricator (using MIG or TIG) with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication/Welding or equivalent and proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with a variety of metals, including stainless steel and aluminium, and be able to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.

A strong attention to detail, commitment to high-quality work, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are essential for this role.
