About the Job:
Safety Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join our growing Defence Portfolio. This role involves developing and implementing Safety Management Plans and Safety Case Reports in accordance with MoD Military Standard (Def-Stan 00-056) or equivalent.

Responsibilities:
Hazard identification, risk analysis, and risk control throughout the design lifecycle.
Development of ALARP statements and presentation of safety cases to internal and external customers.
Liaison with Engineers from various departments, including System, Electronic, Software and Mechanical Engineering.

Requirements:
Proven experience in a Safety Management Environment, preferably with an MoD background or experience in the MoD domain.
Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise safety documentation.
Familiarity with UK MoD ASEMS processes and procedures for safety systems and projects, as well as Def Stan 00-056 Safety Management.
