Job Summary:
">- This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves working with students with complex needs, behavioural challenges, and mental health issues in a specialist provision.
- You will provide educational support, help students to engage with the school, and build strong relationships with them.
Duties and Responsibilities:
">- Act as a mentor and role model for students, using mentoring skills to help them overcome barriers in the classroom.
- Provide educational support to students with complex needs, including those with EHCP plans and additional needs.
- Foster strong relationships with students, helping them to develop emotional intelligence and social skills.
Requirements:
">- A strong background in mentoring children and young adults is essential.
- Leveraging Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualifications or equivalent and above is preferable.
- Experience working in an SEN School or SEMH setting is desirable.
