About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at the Scottish Qualifications Authority.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and reporting on IT technical delivery projects, working closely with Project Managers and technical resources from various teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate solution teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage technical issues and risks to minimize project impact
  • Produce project documentation to facilitate effective communication
  • Develop and implement project schedules to meet business objectives

The ideal candidate will have experience in negotiating with stakeholders, influencing project outcomes, delivering high-quality outputs, and driving continuous improvement.

Applicants should have relevant education or experience, exposure to delivery methodologies, and knowledge of project scheduling tools.

Previous experience in the education sector is a plus.
