We are seeking a highly skilled Control Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team in Peterlee, UK. As a key member of our Electronics and ADAS team, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of assembly processes for various products, including ECUs, RAS, ADAS, Radar, EPB, EBB, and steering systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support all post-SMT and testing processes, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production workflows.
  • Lead and support improvement projects to reduce scrap, improve cycle times, and enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and NPI engineering teams to drive cost-saving initiatives and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and maintain PLC/controls-related databases and systems, ensuring seamless integration with production workflows.
  • Travel globally (up to 3 times annually) to support equipment qualifications and ensure compliance with global standards.
Requirements:
  • Engineering qualification (Degree preferred, but HNC with additional certifications will be considered).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a strong background in electrical bias and automation.
  • Proficient in English language and excellent communication skills.
