Leading the Way in Art Education

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Visual Arts Instructor to join our team at the Wayman Learning Trust. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching Art to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

About the Opportunity

  • As a Visual Arts Instructor, you will be instrumental in developing a dynamic and enriching Art curriculum that encompasses a variety of media and styles, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and digital art.
  • You will teach Art classes, providing guidance and support to students as they explore their artistic talents and develop their own unique styles.
  • Additionally, you will lead art clubs, organize exhibitions, and participate in the school's extracurricular program, helping students to showcase their artwork and pursue their interests.
  • You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that students receive a well-rounded education, fostering their creativity, artistic expression, and academic achievement.

Candidate Requirements

  • A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Art education.
  • A strong understanding of art history, theory, and practice, along with experience in a range of artistic media and techniques.
  • An ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities, making learning fun and engaging.
  • A commitment to the school's Catholic ethos and values.
