Arboriculture Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Groundsman to join our team at Totally Local Company. As a Groundsman, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and safety of our public spaces.

• Undertake a range of duties within the company, including Arboriculture, Grounds and Horticultural Maintenance Operations.
• Provide high-quality tree surgery services, including pruning, felling, planting, stump/root removal, and hedge maintenance.
• Operate ground-based chainsaws, woodchippers, and other equipment necessary to complete your role.
• Ensure effective collaborative working and maintain a clean, hazard-free work site.
• Drive vehicles with a gross vehicle weight up to 3.5 tonnes, including tippers, and perform daily vehicle checks and routine cleaning/defect reporting.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for staff, customers, and members of the public.

• CS30/31 qualification.
• Ability to work to an extremely high standard of both safety and quality.
• Willingness to further develop arboricultural knowledge and practically progress into climbing skills.
