We are seeking an experienced Chief Risk Officer to lead our Enterprise Risk Management function. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a risk strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.

About the Role

The Global Head of Enterprise Risk position is a hands-on, high-impact role that requires experience in enterprise risk management, specifically in the financial services industry. You will report to our Vice President, Business Operations, and be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining an enterprise-wide risk strategy that accommodates operational, legal, market, credit, regulatory, and technology risks
  • Providing analysis and assessments that add value to executive management, our Board, and its Audit & Risk Committee
  • Promoting the adoption of our Risk Operating Model and a sound risk control environment
  • Partnering with business units to identify risks and conduct risk assessments and remediations
  • Driving a balanced approach between business growth and risk management
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Business, Information Technology, Information Security, Economics, or Finance
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in risk management
  • Preference for crypto/fintech experience
  • Executive-level communication skills and experience presenting to Boards and executive management
  • Fluent English language skills with ability to work well with colleagues across multiple time zones
