Domiciliary Care Assistant Role

We are on the lookout for dedicated and compassionate individuals to become part of our team as Care Assistants. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of our clients, supporting them with their daily needs and providing companionship in their own homes.
The job entails engaging with clients for a minimum of 1 hour, offering personalized care, support, and friendship. This includes assisting with everyday tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and accompanying to medical appointments or shopping trips. It is essential that our Care Assistants are reliable drivers with a valid Class A Business Insurance policy.
To excel in this position, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a professional demeanor. While prior experience in the care industry is advantageous, it is not a requirement, as we provide comprehensive training. Our ideal candidate will be warm-hearted, dependable, and respectful, with a genuine interest in caring for others.
We offer an attractive hourly rate of £13.20, along with reimbursement for mileage at 45p per mile. Our core working hours are from 8am to 1pm and 4:45pm to 9:30pm, though additional hours may be available. Candidates must be over 18 and reside within the Salford area. Main Duties:
- Engaging in meaningful conversations with clients to combat loneliness
- Supporting clients with their daily routines and activities
- Accompanying clients to various destinations, including doctor's appointments and social events
- Maintaining confidentiality and upholding the trust placed in us by our clients
Necessary Qualifications:
- Qualification in GCSE English or its equivalent
- Valid driver's license with Class A Business Insurance
- Residency within Salford
- Willingness to work evening shifts and alternate weekends
