Culinary Trainee

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Cornwall.

As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, working collaboratively with the senior kitchen team, and learning from our experienced chefs.

You will have the opportunity to apply for our chef Apprenticeship programme, which will provide you with a comprehensive training experience and help you achieve your career goals.

• Food preparation and making basic sauces
• Learning how to work the different sections in the kitchen
• Supporting the senior kitchen team
• Learning and being inspired by our senior chefs to progress to the next level

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Previous experience in a similar kitchen environment
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• An ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
