Senior Project Manager - Healthcare Sector

Mace is seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Senior Project Manager to join our established healthcare sector, which is currently experiencing an exciting and sustained period of growth. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivery, strong project management skills, and a solutions-based mindset when managing complex projects.

The Opportunity:

This is a client-facing role, responsible for leading other junior team members and working with the Project Director to develop the client's strategy, through to overseeing the appointment of the extended professional team of consultants and contractors and into project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
  • Manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the Associate Director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.
  • Manage project budgets and highlight any risks, challenges, and mitigations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering projects in the healthcare sector.
  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Substantial experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the public sector.
