About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Assistant to join our team at Farfetch. As a Stock Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless fulfillment of online orders for our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the stockroom team in communicating with sales associates to locate and pick items accurately and efficiently.
  • Return stock from the shop floor to the stockroom and store according to established processes.
  • Collaborate with the investigations team to investigate missing items within a 24-hour timeframe.
  • Oversee quality control for orders to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work with the stockroom team and distribution center to maintain stock integrity.
  • Liaise with the stockroom manager to develop action plans to prevent stock loss.
  • Perform cycle counts and regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support the stockroom team in administrative tasks.
  • Work with the web operations team to pick online orders within service level agreements.
  • Pack items according to guidelines for dispatch to the distribution center.

About You

  • You are a team player who excels in a fast-paced environment and prioritizes building strong relationships with colleagues.
  • You have administrative and data entry experience in a fashion retail environment.
  • Inventory management experience is preferred, but not required.
  • You possess proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • You are detail-oriented and able to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
  • You are a problem-solver and multitasker who can adapt to changing priorities.
