Arlington Resource Management, a dynamic and owner-managed property investment and management firm, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management and experience with MRI Qube accounting software.

The successful candidate will be responsible for running the day-to-day accounts, managing tenant accounts receivable, and reconciling loan transactions. They will also be responsible for service charge accounting, managing accounts payable, and reconciling VAT for group companies.

The Finance Manager / Financial Controller will work closely with the CEO and Property Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the finance function. They will be responsible for preparing quarterly reports for investors and liaising with external accountants for year-end.

This is a part-time role, requiring 3-4 days of work per week, with flexible working arrangements. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run the day-to-day accounts on MRI Qube
  • Manage tenant accounts receivable and collection of any arrears
  • Service charge accounting and raise invoices for rent and insurance
  • Reconcile loan transactions, interest, and intercompany transfers
  • Manage accounts payable with supplier reconciliations
  • Reconcile VAT for group companies and submit quarterly returns
  • Prepare quarterly reports for investors
  • Liaise with external accountants for year-end
