IT Infrastructure Engineer – Linux, DevOps

Overview of the Role: Whitehall Resources is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a globally recognized supply chain organization in the North West of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable infrastructure solutions to support the business' continued growth.

This hybrid role offers 2 days a week of remote work.

About You:

  • You have experience supporting and administering Linux/Unix-based systems.
  • You possess strong proficiency in Linux administration (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS).
  • You are familiar with DevOps best practices.
  • You understand networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • You have knowledge of Linux scripting/programming.
  • You have a working knowledge of MySQL databases.
  • A basic understanding of Windows administration would be beneficial.

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
