About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team at AWE Plc. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, secure, and compliant operation of our highly regulated estates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and deliver facility management responsibilities and requirements across our estates.
  • Work closely with the Senior Facility Specialist to manage and maintain a designated portfolio of facilities, ensuring maximum availability every day.
  • Act as the key interface between the facilities team, projects, residents, and other business functions/stakeholders.
  • Identify problems, evaluate options, and formulate effective process, system, and organisational solutions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage priorities and deliver to challenging timescales, maintaining a high degree of effectiveness in a multitask role.
Requirements
  • IOSH certification (or recognised equivalent Health and Safety qualification) is a minimum requirement.
  • IWFM professional membership is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in facility, health and safety, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, presentational, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for this role.
