Job Title: HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team at Turner-Whittman Logistics Limited. As a Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from one fulfillment center to another, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient driving record.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport goods from station to station
  • No loading/unloading expected, we will handle that for you
  • Reliable and safe driving with careful handling of vehicles and trailers
  • Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to warehouse on time
  • Interact with stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid C+E license, Driver CPC Card (or DQC Card)
  • Understand and comply to tachograph and driver hours regulations
  • Minimum 6 months HGV 1 Driving Experience
  • Digital Tachograph card
  • Driver qualification card
  • Knowledge and understanding of driving regulations in the UK
  • Clean driving license
  • Be flexible to work 60hr weeks
  • Pass a background check (to the extent permitted by applicable law)
  • Pass a standard drug and alcohol test (to the extent permitted by applicable law)
  • Be able to speak and read English satisfactorily
  • No more than 6 penalty points in the driver's license (as well as no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
Benefits:
  • Salary: £41,600 (gross) per month + £25 night out allowance + extras night shift etc.
