Sourcing and Supply Chain Manager

In this exciting role as a Sourcing and Supply Chain Manager at VIQU Energy Limited, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive tracking system for all materials to ensure inventory accuracy and project alignment. Your ability to manage multiple suppliers and deadlines effectively will ensure the efficient sourcing and supply of materials.

Job Description:

You will be working closely with project managers and suppliers to ensure materials are delivered to sites as per project timelines. This will involve conducting regular supplier reviews to secure competitive pricing, improve terms, and assess performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sourcing & Procurement: Take ownership of sourcing and procuring materials for all projects.
  2. Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and suppliers to ensure materials are delivered to sites as per project timelines.
  3. Tracking & Reporting: Develop and maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all materials to ensure inventory accuracy and project alignment.
  4. Supplier Management: Conduct regular supplier reviews to secure competitive pricing, improve terms, and assess performance.
  5. Forecasting: Work closely with the sales and operations teams to forecast material requirements based on secured business for the quarter or half-year.
  6. Cost Efficiency: Identify and implement opportunities to optimize the supply chain, driving efficiencies and cost savings across projects.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in procurement, particularly in sourcing energy or construction materials.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple suppliers and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favourable terms and cost efficiencies.
  • A commercially minded individual with prior exposure to a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player who can build strong relationships internally and externally.
Salary and Benefits:
  • A competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
