Gaydon, Warwickshire, United Kingdom Jaguar Land Rover Full time

Product Engineering at Jaguar Land Rover is driven by innovation and creativity. As a Data Engineering Chapter Lead, you'll be at the forefront of this endeavour, leading a team of data engineers to develop and maintain our data infrastructure.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking. You'll work closely with chapter members to facilitate inputs into a Body of Knowledge, developing a strategic approach to data engineering that meets the future needs of the department.

Key responsibilities include working with other areas of the business to ensure Body Chassis Engineering needs are represented in future strategic developments, serving as a coach and advisor to squads, and facilitating performance management for chapter members.

To succeed in this role, you'll need previous experience leading projects/teams in data engineering or digital data platforms, as well as knowledge of applicable programming languages, scripts, and databases.

With the ability to implement cloud solutions on AWS platforms and experience with database architectures, ETL, big data, and distributed storage technologies, you'll drive the development of high-quality data solutions tailored to body chassis engineering.

Jaguar Land Rover offers a hybrid working arrangement providing employees more choice and flexibility around how, when, and where they work. We're committed to equal opportunity for all and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.

A competitive salary of approximately £90,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in establishing the chapter and relevant solutions across the organisation.
