We're seeking a skilled District Retail Merchandiser to join our field-based retail merchandising team. As a key member of our team, you'll work in a range of high street retailers on behalf of exciting household name brands.

Your primary responsibility will be to fill coverage gaps across a defined district, visiting multiple retail outlets to fulfill district and regional targets. You'll ensure the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for merchandising, retail, and customer service. You'll have the opportunity to work across various categories, including Books and Entertainment, Fashion, Grocery, Health and Beauty, Beers, Wines and Spirits, and Toys.

As a District Retail Merchandiser, you'll be responsible for:

  • Compliance and Standards: You'll know and stick to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies, and health and safety guidance.
  • Product Placement and Replenishment: You'll arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Building: You'll build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.

We're looking for someone who is happy to travel across the defined area, has a full UK driving license, and access to a car for business purposes. You'll need to be comfortable with manual handling and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
