Job Summary:

The Warehouse Operative Night Shift position is available at Gregory Group, a leading logistics company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually load and unload palletized goods from lorries, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate a PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) to load and unload palletized goods, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Utilize the warehouse management system and scanner to receive, locate, and dispatch goods, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Replenish and consolidate stock as required, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Assist with wrapping and labeling of pallets, as well as general housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area and equipment.
  • Complete relevant paperwork in line with warehouse processes, including reporting any defects or issues.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • PPT license is advantageous, although full in-house training can be provided.
  • Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is essential.
  • Experience with computerized warehouse management systems, Manhattan scale is advantageous.
  • Good communication and team working skills are crucial.
  • Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills are required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative is essential.
