CNC Programmer/Setter - Turning Specialist

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is managing a new opportunity for a CNC Programmer/Setter to join a growing Turning team. The role involves working on a two-shift rota, either 4 or 5 days per week, with options for mornings, afternoons, or nights.

This long-standing engineering business is a key supplier to a global client base, with customers relying on their services for over 20 years. The company has a strong long-term order book, providing security for the future.

The role involves programming at the machine from drawings, with no CAD/CAM experience required. You will be working with a range of machinery, primarily with Fanuc controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and run CNC Machines, primarily Turning.
  • Inspect components with the equipment provided to ensure they meet the drawing tolerances stated.
  • Meet quality requirements.
  • Work with other areas of the business as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Essential: previous experience programming/setting CNC Lathes.
