Job Summary:

Kenton Black Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our team. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Setting Out: Accurately set out and read drawings to ensure that all site operations are carried out in accordance with the project plans.
  2. GPS Coordination: Use GPS coordinates quickly and accurately to ensure that all site operations are carried out in the correct location.
  3. Communication: Communicate effectively with the contracts manager and site team to ensure that all site operations are carried out smoothly.
  4. Quality Assurance: Conduct basic Quality Assurance checks to ensure that all site operations are carried out to the required standards.

Location:

You will be based on a large site and will occasionally travel to smaller sites in the area. Responsibilities include setting out for all elements of groundworks: roads, sewers, housing plots, kerbs, foundations, balancing ponds, etc.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Previous experience setting out on residential groundworks projects or related civil engineering.
  2. Technical Skills: Previous use of Leica total station programmed with GPS and AutoCAD proficiency.
  3. Driving Licence: Full Driving Licence.
