We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Primary School Learning Facilitator, supporting students in their language development and literacy skills.

Job Description

As a Primary School Learning Facilitator, you will work closely with teachers to deliver targeted interventions and provide support to students who need extra help. You will also contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, and collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with phonics, reading, writing, and comprehension through 1:1 and small group sessions
  • Assisting in the development of speech and language skills, fostering a love for language
  • Helping students with spelling, grammar, and vocabulary building
  • Working alongside the class teacher to deliver lessons and provide tailored interventions for students who need extra help
  • Monitoring and reporting on student progress, ensuring that learning needs are met
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A 2:1 or First-Class degree in Linguistics or a related field from a top UK university
  • Strong understanding of language development and a passion for supporting young learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary of £24,000 - £28,000 per annum (pro rata), plus opportunities for professional development and career progression in education.
