Forklift Operative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Forklift Operative to join our team at Links Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Forklift Truck to safely unload, load, and move freight.
  • Check in and book in shipments on our in-house system.
  • Unload and load freight from company and third-party vehicles (including double-deck trailers).
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept in a safe and tidy manner.
  • Carry out a variety of warehouse-related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Forklift Truck operating skills.
  • Cargo Awareness (Level D certificate).
  • Airfreight/logistics industry experience an advantage.
  • A full 5-year checkable work history.
  • To enjoy physical and varied work.
