Senior Hydraulic Test Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Test Technician to join our team at Options Resourcing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and profitability of our business by testing and assembling hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise technicians in testing various manifold assemblies, cartridge valves, and customer returns.
  • Prepare parts for testing by populating with hydraulic fittings, connecting hoses, gauges, and other equipment.
  • Perform hydraulic testing to test procedures or hydraulic schematics using test rigs provided.
  • Repair and test customer returns, including taking apart cartridges, valves, and assemblies, washing, and replacing parts as required.
  • Assemble parts to drawings provided, including the assembly of cartridge valves and hydraulic manifold assemblies.
  • Complete relevant labels and paperwork.
  • Perform light warehouse duties, including the preparation of parts for processing at external suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of hydraulic testing desirable.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic drawings and circuits desirable.
  • Use of gauges and Quality Procedures ISO9001:2008.
  • Quality control.
  • Conscientious, methodical, organized, and tidy - flexible in approach and able to use initiative.
  • Good communication and team player.
  • Effective interpretation of instructions.
  • Proactive and capable of planning ahead and time management.
  • Adaptable and capable of managing changing priorities and tasks.
