About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Histopathology Consultant to join our team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. As a key member of our Histopathology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Histopathology Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert diagnostic services in histopathology, including the examination and reporting of tissue specimens
- Working closely with our multidisciplinary team to plan and implement strategic objectives for the department
- Developing and maintaining a high level of expertise in histopathology, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies
- Contributing to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the department
- Providing education and training to junior staff and students
