We are currently seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team in Skelmersdale. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service. You should hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, as well as experience supervising a team and working in a similar chef role.

The salary for this position is approximately £25,000 per annum, plus benefits. We offer a flexible approach to working, with shift patterns including 4 on 4 off. Our team provides tailored food services to 140 clients in the business and industry sector.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  • Overseeing and implementing menu changes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
  • Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
  • Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Representing Dine Contract Catering and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
  • Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
  • Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
