The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain and transport management, with experience in managing complex global matrix organisations. You will be a commercially aware, strategic thinker with excellent external industry network and knowledge of supplier partners and external best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Transport Team and Outsourced Partners
  • Deliver planned operational KPIs for Retail and Multi-Channel functions
  • Develop a continuous improvement plan across all areas of responsibility
  • Work alongside Group Procurement on formal Supplier tendering and demand planning
  • Strategic review of the retail Hub network
  • Responsibility for setting operational and financial reporting metrics
  • Enhance Transport operations to deliver best-in-class lead times and service
  • Work in collaboration with JD IT Team to select a TMS for Retail and Multi-Channel IT
  • Deliver projects in accordance with PMO project governance
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, policy, and best practice
Requirements
  • Proven supply chain and transport experience in the UK and Europe
  • Excellent external industry network and knowledge of supplier partners and external best practices
  • Commercially aware, strategic thinker with experience in managing complex global matrix organisations
  • Proven ability to deliver organisational and business process change
  • Strong operational service orientation and customer-facing skills
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to demonstrate successful delivery of Change Management
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
