Retail Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and store operations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and lead a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and store operations.
- Manage store activities, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, customer satisfaction, and team engagement.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and team development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and control store inventory, including stock levels, stockroom organization, and inventory management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive store environment.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of store initiatives, including promotions, events, and community programs.
- Monitor and report on store performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and team engagement.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement plans to improve store performance and achieve business objectives.
- Proven experience in a retail leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, retail, or a related field preferred.
