Paralegal and Administrative Coordinator

At March Recruitment, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Paralegal and Administrative Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our family and litigation department, you will provide administrative and legal support to our team, contributing to the effective operation of the department and the firm as a whole.
About the Role
This is a dynamic and varied role, requiring a strong working knowledge of Computers and Word software, as well as general administration and office skills. You will be responsible for answering the telephone, taking messages, making appointments, and progressing cases as requested by the fee earner. You will also be responsible for word processing, sending and receiving emails, filing papers and computer documents, photocopying, faxing, and scanning, and liaising with court staff and other third parties as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the family and litigation department, including answering the telephone, taking messages, and making appointments
- Progressing cases as requested by the fee earner, including word processing, sending and receiving emails, and filing papers and computer documents
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients and other stakeholders, including dealing with queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Liaising with court staff and other third parties as required, including sending and receiving letters and faxes, and photocopying and scanning documents
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including case files and other administrative documents
Key Competencies
- Good working knowledge of Computers and Word software
- General administration and office skills, including time management and prioritization
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English both spoken and written
- Ability to deal sensitively and effectively with clients and other stakeholders
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the effective operation of the department and the firm as a whole
What We Offer
As a Paralegal and Administrative Coordinator with March Recruitment, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
